Here are a sampling of some of my favorite made-up and
combination / portmanteau words
Diabological:
adj. Both diabolical and logical.
I have a diabological plan to rule the world.
Automagically:
adv. Automatically, and done in a way that appears to be
magical.
A quick ping out to the router and our internet connection
will be restored automagically.
Taxvantageous:
adj. Advantageous for tax reasons.
Giving to charity is taxvantageous because it reduces your
taxable income.
Transmorphed:
v.i. To simultaneously morph and transform into something else.
The frog magically transmorphed into a handsome prince.
Fantabulous:
adj. Both fantastic and fabulous.
Half-Life was absolutely fantabulous.
Gymbership:
n. A gym membership.
I just signed up for a Gold's Gymbership.
Utopiate:
n. A perfect drug.
Technology is the utopiate of the masses.
Gihugic:
adj. Both gigantic and huge. See also "ginormous".
Justin's care package is gihugic.
